Q&A:
Playboy Sensation Yumi Lee
Part I: The Interview
Ktown213: Hi Yumi, first we thank you for doing this interview with
Ktown213. Give our viewers your 30-second intro!
Yumi Lee: Hello, I'm Yumi Lee.
You may know me from Playboy TV, Perfect 10 magazine, or numerous other
publications. I am currently the Cyber Girl of the Week on Playboy.com
so please go check it out! Thanks to all my wonderful fans for your
continued loving support!
KT213: How old were you when
you moved to the States, and was it a difficult transition to make?
YL: I move to the States when
I was 13 years old from Seoul. It was a difficult first year because of
the sudden changes of language and environment. It was a huge culture
shock for me. The adjustment became much easier as the years went by.
Now I'm definitely an American!
KT213: We understand you love
sports, even joined the track team in high school! Tell us more about
that.
YL: My whole family are big
sports fans. My family encouraged me to join the track team to boost my
confidence. I really enjoyed practicing after school and just competing.
Now, I can't even come close to the time that I used to run the mile. I
am not in that kind of shape anymore. Too much time sitting on my tushy!
KT213: We know you're a woman
who values the importance of education, and you haven't let your
modeling career steer you away from that. Kudos to you!
YL: You can't model forever
but learning is a lifelong process. I was raised to value education.
Education allows a person to explore their inner self, gain intellect,
and pursue their dreams. I know models out there that have no intention
of continuing their education but would rather find a rich man to take
care of them...that's not my style.
KT213: You're currently
studying Electrical Engineering, how's that going for you?
YL: I found that quite boring
even though I was almost done with the program. I realized I want to
have a fulfilling and meaningful career rather than being stuck in the
office all day. I'm currently shifting gears towards something in the
medical field where I can reach
out to people who are sick and needy.
KT213: What kind of food do
you like? Do you have to constantly watch what you eat to keep your
beautiful figure?
YL: I'm a sucker for food. I
love food!!! I pretty much eat everything. My favorites are Korean &
Japanese cuisine, a big juicy steak and anything with vegetables. I do
follow this one routine though...eat less but more often. That is
perhaps the most important habit to follow in order for me to stay in
shape.
KT213: Wow, a Korean woman who
is smart, sexy, beautiful, loves galbi, and loves sports! You're the
perfect woman for all man-kind!
YL: Yes, indeed! That's right,
just give me a plate of galbi and a good b-ball game!
KT213: Now for the million
dollar follow up question, are you single?
YL: Yes, I am but I'm still
waiting for the Man of my dreams!
KT213: Have you ever been to
K-Town here in Los Angeles? What are some of your favorite places to
visit?
YL: Yes, I've been to K-Town
several times. In fact, it's one of my favorite places to visit whenever
I'm in LA. I usually go where the food is...hahahahaha! There are so
many more varieties of Korean food in K-Town than in Arizona. Oh, I also
pick up some Korean novels or biographies or sometimes I'll look for new
Korean movies to buy and bring back home with me.
KT213: Anything you'd like to
add?
YL:
I'm the Cyber
Girl of the Week Starting Nov. 1st so please check me out at playboy.com.
I'm chatting with the fans through the message boards and it's been a
blast already. The voting will start in early Dec. for Cyber Girl of the
Month and I need your votes!!! I'll be the 1st Korean Cyber Girl of the
Month if I get the most votes! I need all the Korean support I can get!
