Fun
David Choi Fact: 22nd most subscribed musician on youtube.com,
which is higher than Avril Lavinge, Carrie Underwood, Beyounce,
MJ, JT, Alicia Keys, 50 Cent, Usher, and Madonna!
KT213:
Hey David, give our viewers your 30-second intro!
David Choi: Well I was born and raised in Orange County, grew
up playing violin and piano, I enjoy web browsing, and all things
music!
KT213:
First and foremost, you have over 2million hits on some of your
youtube videos. Did you have any idea that you would have this kind of
following?
DC: I had no idea. I started posting videos as a social
experiment, and it exploded after YT featured "YouTube (A Love Song)"
on the homepage. I continued to make videos because people were
asking.
KT213:
When did you realize you had a knack for music and song writing?
DC: As I mentioned, I grew up playing and listening to music,
but my passion for songwriting didn't emerge until I was 16 years old.
KT213:
You have a performance coming up at the Shrine for Kollaboration. Are
you nervous? What are your expectations?
DC: Yes, I'm nervous! I'm not quite sure what to expect, which
makes me even more nervous about it. My hands start sweating whenever
I think about it!
KT213:
Where can we see more of David Choi? Any upcoming projects besides
Kollaboration?
DC: I have a YouTube channel where you can subscribe for the
latest David Choi news as well as my Myspace page. I'm ALWAYS working
on something!
KT213:
OK, boring yearbook question coming up: Where do you see yourself 5
years from now?
DC: In 5 years, I see myself doing the same thing I'm doing
now. Hopefully by then, I'll have lived more, seen more places, and
have done more "important things" for humankind.
KT213:
Your favorite hang-out in K-Town?
DC: Hmm, I'd say Hodori because they are always opened. It's
not really a hang-out for me, but I do go there once in awhile when
I'm in the area!
KT213:
For all the ladies, are you single?
DC: Yes.
KT213:
Last minute shout-outs?
DC: Hi to my YT subscribers and hi to my friends Sam Chun, Dan
Chun, and Peter Yim!
KT213:
Thank you so much for your time David. We wish you the best of luck!
DC: Thanks for interviewing me, it was fun!
